Szkoła Podstawowa im. Kawalerów Orderu Uśmiechu w Czersku
Szkoła Podstawowa im. Kawalerów Orderu Uśmiechu in Czersk is located in a small village called Czersk, around 30 km from the capital city of Poland, Warsaw. Szkoła Podstawowa im. KOU in Czersk is a public educational institution that implements the core curriculum in English and German (grades 7-8). The school actively participates in many educational projects in the field of ecology, languages and social inclusion, ICT as well as develops and implements new ways of teaching.
Education includes 2 stages: grades 1-3 (3 classes), grades 4-8 (7 classes) and one zero class with a total of 179 students. Pupils at Szkoła Podstawowa in Czersk are creative and disciplined. They are eager to get involved in educational programs and projects. The school cultivates national traditions. Teachers take care of the integration of pupils. At present, our school is attended by one child from Ukraine ( a war refugee), 9 students with special education needs, 36 students with stated learning difficulties. The students come from families of different social backgrounds from rural areas.
