Kauno Maironio universitetinė gimnazija

Kaunas Maironis Academic Gymnasium is a state educational institution providing curriculum programme covering four year learning areas for higher classes of secondary education being a pilot school emphasizing teaching of foreign languages, application of new technologies, research in education and especially career guidance. It owns two fully equipped school campuses, with special classrooms for information technology, chemistry, biology, a library, sports hall and career guidance centre. Through these means and facilities, the school provides its students the opportunity to get involved in various civil and social activities, reinforcing the level of education they get. Kaunas Maironis Academic Gymnasium has a possibility to provide wider educational services for pupils of different social groups communicating and working with local authorities and universities. Situating in the centre of the old town and being one the oldest educational institutions in Lithuania, it bears the aura of cultural and historical connotations.
